Garbine Muguruza Shines At Wimbledon

Eduzine Global recently featured an article about 7 Wimbledon young hopefuls. We are delighted that young Spanish sensation, Garbine Muguruza who we featured in that article, reached the final of the women's singles at the prestigious tournament, losing in a close final to all-time great Serena Williams.

The Spaniard announced herself onto the WTA tour with a stunning run to the 2014 Roland Garros last eight. With an aggressive gameplan the amiable 21-year-old defeated world No.1 Serena Williams en route to losing to eventual champion Maria Sharapova in three tight sets. Since Muguruza played the fourth round at the Australian Open and the last eight in Paris again, having established a top 30 ranking. Her achievement at Wimbledon catapults Garbine into the world's top 10 ranking, where she is now expected to remain for a lengthy period.

Many congratulations Garbine, from all at Eduzine Global.com and we hope to arrange for one of our young reporters to interview you in the near future.
