Rising African Entrepreneur - Emmanuel Nyame

Social Entrepreneur and Kairos Society Fellow Emmanuel Nyame enjoys his flourishing and rising career as one of industry’s premier young entrepreneurs. Bright, energetic, driven and, above all, passionate about giving back to his country, Emmanuel Nyame of Ghanaian descent, has been recognized as a critical component in supporting the creation of new jobs that are adding tangible economic impact to the Ghana economy and increasing the quality of life for those that work for them. Whereas many might see the Entrepreneurial world as something independently reserved for grownups with specific skill set, Emmanuel, still an undergraduate at the University of Ghana, has defied all odds to build a successive business network. As a result, his entrepreneurial spirit inspires and his authenticity engages everyone he meets.

He began serious business in high school and immediately stood out as a leader. Most commonly, people try several businesses before finding the right one and Emmanuel knew immediately. He recalls, “I feel as though it’s definitely my calling.” He attended Accra Academy and won many accolades for his school including National Quiz competitions and business plan competitions in-country and international competitions as well. Notable among such competitions are the Ministry of Finance’ National Quiz on Finance, Junior Achievement Africa Region in Nairobi, Anzisha Prize in South Africa with his team. He again recalls “these periods opened up a whole new world for me.” By a fortunate twist of fate, Emmanuel’s professional career led him to operate and organize one of StartUp Cup’s most successful acceleration programs, Ghana StartUp Cup. Nyame has showcased tremendous passion and commitment to transforming the way aspiring entrepreneurs learn to design and build businesses.

Emmanuel's enthusiasm to engage local business leaders and professionals to effectively coach and mentor entrepreneurs is making a significant impact in Ghana. “I loved the excitement of working on something and I got hooked!” He exclaimed. One event led to another and in 2014 Emmanuel was awarded a Kairos Society Fellowship, which demonstrates his global impact and influence throughout Ghana and Africa and is still a great success today. Emmanuel’s entrepreneurial experience ranges from business and project development to investment structuring. He also heads the Ghana subsidiary of New York based Venture Capital Firm iYa Ventures, spearheading investment initiatives for startups, vetting entrepreneurs, and matching them to investors. His current management consultancy, Dream Pathway International (DPI) also works with BlackBridge CrossBorders in the United Kingdom to transforming businesses in Africa through selective facilitation of partnerships and communications.

Emmanuel believes that Entrepreneurs have a responsibility, “to understand our economic environment and really express what is going on.” He looks forward to continuing his entrepreneurial journey and spreading the word through his works because He “really believes in giving back to community.” This message is so evident in his activities that Emmanuel will succeed in being an example of what is possible for years to come.

Huge congratulations to Emmanuel on his growing global success and his desire to help and promote other young people. We at EduzineGlobal.com wish Emmanuel every success for the future and fully expect to see him rise to the very top, through his business and social enterprise projects.
